Newcastle Vs Crystal Palace Preview

Alan Pardew and Yohan Cabaye will come up against their former club at Selhurst Park.Since Pardew arrived he's managed to turn Palace from a club battling against relegation to a club that has consolidated a position as a decent mid-table side. Despite this they have struggled at home this season and are in a poor run of form, having only got 1 win from their last 5 games. Newcastle on the other hand have been struggling this season and are stuck at the lower end of the premier league table, and have a key players injured in the shape of Jack Colback and Tim Krul. Newcastle's last 2 defeats will not give their fans any hope either as they were beaten convincingly by rivals Sunderland and Leicester City
Player To Watch
Yohan Cabaye has performed well in the middle of the park for palace and this trend is likely to continue. Not the most spectacular player to watch but he has a respectable goalscoring record and his range of passing is a great benefit for his team
Prediction
I think a 2-1 draw is likely due to Palace's poor home for and Newcastle looking to make up for their recent defeats. Newcastle have frequently shown a lack of motivation over the last couple of seasons but if that does change here that will be able to get a very respectable result
