Bournemouth Vs Manchester United Preview

Man united arrive at Dean Court Stadium after being eliminated from the Champion's League after a 3-2 defeat to Wolfsburg. Bournemouth are in good spirits after heaping more misery on champions Chelsea last weekend.Despite fairly poor results Bournemouth have been frequently praised for their exciting attacking performances. United have had the opposite with many boring draws, and Van Gaal is under pressure to improve. Bastian Schweinsteiger has been banned for 3 games for hitting out at Winston Reid in the draw with West Ham.Smalling who has been impressive defensively this season is likely to miss the match after picking up a knock in mid-week. Howe has an extensive injury list and despite Murray's goal last week he is expected to have an unchanged line up from the team that beat Chelsea. Player to Watch Josh King used to be a Manchester United player but failed to play a single first team game. He's produced good performances this season and his pace and intelligent

Manchester United Vs. Wolfsburg

Manchester United face the possibility of bot qualifying for the knockout stages of the Champion's League if they fail to beat Wolfsburg. United have failed to show cutting edge this season with their 0-0 draw with West Ham being their sixth 0-0 this season. This points towards defence a strong defence, with Chris Smalling having a good season and De Gea also performing well. Despite this the lack of goals and slow, boring style of play are a major worry.Wayne Rooney has been ruled out of the tie with an ankle injury but on recent form this isn't a big miss. Wolfsburg don't have any of these problems. Bas Dost and Max Kruse have been regular goalscorers. In addition to this they've won both their home games in the Champion's League so far keeping clean sheets. They will be wanting to bounce back after their 29 game unbeaten run at home was brought to an end by Dortmund. Player To Watch Bastian Schweinsteiger has not been at his best since joining united in the sum

Aston Villa Certain For Relegation?

This season Aston Villa's results have been nothing short of dreadful. As a result they find the self at the bottom of the table, adrift of  19th place Sunderland by 6 points. It seems that after unconvincingly surviving relegation last season Villa didn't learn their lesson. They failed to improve their squad, although Gestede looks to have been a decent acquisition he has failed to fill the void left by Christian Benteke. Adams TraorĂ© is a player with bags of potential but so far this season has showed very little. Ron Vlaar failed to agree a new contract with the club in the summer and his absence is clear as Villa have one of the worst defences in the league conceding 28 goals. There are glimpses of hope for Villa fans. Despite his questionable behaviour off the pitch Jack Grealish has the ability to change a game and Jordan Veretout has produced some good performances. Remy Garde has a struggle on his hands. Usually when a new manager arrives at a club there is a honeymoo

Southampton will be looking to bounce back strongly after defeat by Man City at the weekend and become stable after inconsistent form in the league. They have performed well so far in the cup with a comprehensive 6-0 demolition of MK Dons and a decent 2-1 win over Villa. Liverpool will be looking to win the league cup.Although, a top four finish will be their priority,Liverpool have not won any silverware since 2012 and a cup win would only raise spirits further after the club has been lifted by the appointment of Jurgen Klopp.Liverpool look good value for victory only having suffered 1 defeat under Klopp so far.
