Bournemouth Vs Manchester United Preview

Man united arrive at Dean Court Stadium after being eliminated from the Champion's League after a 3-2 defeat to Wolfsburg. Bournemouth are in good spirits after heaping more misery on champions Chelsea last weekend.Despite fairly poor results Bournemouth have been frequently praised for their exciting attacking performances. United have had the opposite with many boring draws, and Van Gaal is under pressure to improve.

Bastian Schweinsteiger has been banned for 3 games for hitting out at Winston Reid in the draw with West Ham.Smalling who has been impressive defensively this season is likely to miss the match after picking up a knock in mid-week.

Howe has an extensive injury list and despite Murray's goal last week he is expected to have an unchanged line up from the team that beat Chelsea.

Player to Watch

Josh King used to be a Manchester United player but failed to play a single first team game. He's produced good performances this season and his pace and intelligent runs could cause problems for United's defence.

Score Prediction

I predict a 1-1 draw, United control games without penetrating or scoring alot of goals.After being forced to be more open and aggressive against Wolfsburg to try and progress United are likely to return to there defensive style, but against weaker opposition they should be able to get at least one goal.Bournemouth play with spirit and intent and think they might be able to get a goal and defend well.
